The Federal Reserve sits in a prominent location at 1000 Peachtree Street NE. As you drive by, ever wonder what goes on inside that prestigious building? The Federal Reserve museum is designed to give the public a glimpse of its operations with interactive multimedia exhibits that describe the Federal Reserve’s role in the economy. We will also see the cash-processing operations, where millions of dollars are counted, sorted, or shredded daily. You’ll get a glimpse into the Bank’s automated vault and see the robotic transports that do the heavy lifting.
Following our visit to the museum, we will drop by Cafe Intermezzo, on the corner of Peachtree and 11th Street, where participants may purchase coffee, tea or a delicious dessert. Please register early; we will be limited to 20 participants for this field trip.
